Acquisition dates can vary across the source mosaic. Both images are unmodified NaturalColor JPEG exports of the official NAIP service, 4000 x 4000 pixels, north up, UTM Zone 10N (EPSG:32610). Common center: latitude 37.7764, longitude -122.4242 (Hayes Valley, San Francisco). Regional extent: 15000 x 15000 metres, 3.75 metres/pixel. Detail extent: 2400 x 2400 metres, 0.6 metres/pixel. Exact extents, source requests, SHA-256 hashes and output metadata: hayes-naip-downloads.json. World-to-imagery mapping and original Landsat registration: hayes-georeference.json. These are actual orthorectified aerial photographs, with baked lighting/shadows and visible capture seams over water. The landing page's near street model is an illustrative environment, not an exact photogrammetric replica of this location. hayes-elevation-257.json Publisher: USGS National Map 3D Elevation Program (3DEP). October 01, 2026. Downloaded: 2026-10-26. Raw F32 TIFF exported with raster function None, bilinear sampling, 257 x 257 pixels over the exact 15 km NAIP extent. Values converted to JSON metres and rounded to centimetres; no terrain was fabricated. Row order north to south; columns west to east. Samples represent pixel centers, so a UV coordinate maps to index UV*257 - 0.5 (invert north-up V for array rows). Actual height at origin is 21.52 m; page local terrain should subtract that datum to keep the origin at y=0. Original elevation range: -1.95 to 279.01 m. Actual SF hills, shoreline, and northern headland relief. The source query returned 4032 building ways around Hayes Valley. This reusable derived dataset contains 3993 polygons with original OSM ids, local metric footprints and height source metadata. Thirty-nine polygons overlapping the illustrative street's bounds plus a 6m safety margin were excluded. 2973 heights come directly from OSM height tags; 115 are estimated from OSM building:levels times 3.1m; 905 use an illustrative default height of 8m. Facade materials and windows are illustrative, not reconstructed architectural surveys. Coordinates can be converted back to EPSG:32610 using hayes-georeference.json, with origin latitude 37.7764 / longitude -122.4242.
