10,000 records migrated overnight
Coasty drives your legacy or mainframe system the same way a data-entry clerk would, by looking at the screen. It reads each record off the old application, tabs into the matching fields in the new system, types every value, saves the row, then reads the saved record back to confirm it landed correctly. No database export, no ETL connector, and no API on either side. When a screen redraws or a field moves, Coasty re-reads the layout and keeps going instead of breaking, and it pauses for a human to approve any record it cannot match with confidence.
How it works
- 01
Point it at both systems
Open the legacy application and the new system on screen and describe the field mapping. Coasty learns the source layout and the destination form by looking at them, so no schema access or API is required on either side.
- 02
Records are read and re-keyed
Coasty reads each record off the legacy screen field by field, switches to the new system, and types every value into the matching field, handling logins, page waits, and dropdowns exactly as a person would.
- 03
Every row is verified
After saving each record, Coasty reads the stored values back from the new system and compares them against the source. Mismatches are flagged, and anything it cannot resolve confidently is held for human approval before moving on.
- 04
The run is logged and delivered
You get a reconciliation report showing every record moved, the before and after values for each field, any rows held for review, and a step-by-step recording of the migration you can replay for audit.
What you get
Try it yourself
Migrate the customer master records from our AS/400 order screen into the new CRM. For each record copy account number, name, address, phone, and status into the matching fields, save, then read it back to confirm. Hold any record where a field will not map cleanly for my review.
